This painting was born by letting go incrementally…..by pouring paint and rice over an older canvas and then beginning to splash marks and materials with abandon. In the end it feels like water or maybe an underwater scene. What does it feel like to you? In the end, the letting go gave me hope that something of exciting beauty could be born.
